Welcome to Local legends
DEVELOPING THE NEXT GENERATION OF LOCAL LEGENDS
Elite youth athlete development built on consistency, structure, and implementation.
What Makes Local Legends Different?
We develop serious athletes through a structured system built on three core pillars
CONSISTENCY
Nothing great is built overnight. Real development happens through disciplined repetition and consistent work over time. The players who commit to the process here build the habits that separate them from everyone else.
STRUCTURE
We teach the “why” behind the “how.” When players understand the purpose behind a drill, they learn faster and adjust quicker. That’s how real development happens.
IMPLEMENTATION
Skill only matters if it translates. Competition builds confidence. Drills become decisions. Training becomes performance.
THE FOUNDER
The vision behind the brand
Jason
Landman
Jason Landman founded Local Legends with a simple belief: young athletes deserve structure, accountability, and a clear path to improvement.
During his own journey to playing professional basketball, Jason did not always have someone telling him exactly how to train or what the perfect workout looked like. What he did have was consistency. He showed up every day and worked on something that moved him forward. Over time, that commitment helped turn a dream into reality.
That experience shapes how he coaches today.
Jason’s role is to give athletes the tools, knowledge, and structure to build their game the right way. But real development does not happen in just a few sessions each week. The athletes who grow the most are the ones who take what they learn and continue working on it outside of training.
If a player says they want to be great, Jason takes that seriously. His job is to challenge them, push them, and hold them accountable to the standard they set for themselves.
Because real confidence comes from knowing the work has been done.
THE STANDARD
We demand discipline, focus, and a willingness to push past comfort zones. We strive to build elite athletes, not casual players. If you want to become elite, your work ethic has to match that desire.
Our method
No random drills. No wasted reps. Every session follows an intentional, structured progression. Consistency leads to comfort and comfort builds confidence.
The Translastion
Skill only matters if it translates to the game. We bridge the gap between individual training and competitive environments to produce measurable, on-court results.
Choose Your Commitment Level
Serious development requires serious commitment.
Testimonials
What athletes and parents are saying
You were absolutely phenomenal with Layton! As an 8th grade girl changing schools, trying out for new teams, being worried about all the changes you managed to help boost her confidence when she could have very easily quit. It takes an amazing coach to be able to help a girl at that age going through everything and you went beyond my expectations! You knew exactly when to push her without making her feel like she wasn’t capable of rising to a challenge and when it was time to encourage because she was doubting herself
Our son started group lessons with Coach Jason and we were so impressed that we started doing individual lessons. His lessons have helped our son develop better ball handling skills, improve defensive techniques and also fine tune his shots! Jason’s basketball knowledge goes beyond developing offense & defense skills… he has helped our son’s confidence improve and he teaches the importance of goal setting, being a good teammate & staying coachable! Highly recommend the Let Em Know!!
We have been training with Jason with Let ‘Em Know Skill Development for about eight months. Scheduling has been easy and his passion for basketball is clear in his training. He has not only improved her skills, but also boosted her confidence. I highly recommend him for all your basketball training.
Listen moms and dads, this guy Jason Landman is top tier when it comes to developing young athletes. He has a high level skill set and I.Q. to match it! As a former athlete and current father I do my best to get my son prepared for the game and am very hands on with him. I consider him a good athlete not to sound bias but I consider my son amongst the best in his grade around the county. I decided to challenge him and move him up a grade but didn't want him to be overwhelmed. So I looked for affordable, local, trainers to give him a little extra boost and boy was I glad I did that. With only a couple of sessions Jason took my 10 yr olds game to another level. My 4th grader finished the yr with a MVP award and All-County award in the 5th GRADE LEAGUE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND any parent to take their child to 'Local Legends' 5stars!
